It's a delusion to think that Gortat,RA(The missing link as you put it) and the no stats star can form the foundation of a championship. Even if you add Scolandry,Hayes,Aaron and Lowry and the fillers,we are looking at a team that at it's best could make it to the first round.

Don't forget Regular season. 3.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg, and .8 bpg, 56% FG on 13 MPG, that's pretty dam good. Plus he is young.

Could the Rockets going public with the extent of Yao's foot problems been timed in order to woo Gortat when the calendar hit July 1st? It's known that the guy wasn't happy with his lack of playing time in Orlando, and not having Yao in the picture would make Houston more attractive for him.
