Criticizing a GM that has refused to overspend on role players and still built a team so deep that they are in the midst of one of the teams best regular season ever, despite the fact that they have been the most injured team in the play-offs, is certainly not being objective. What Daryl Morey has done this season has been spectacular.
BROS - you can't be posting in this thread during the Western Conference Finals. Remember what your expectations were before the season started? Get some perspective.
Morey definitely has more work to do. This season is still seen as a success but it just hurts to see the team absolutely dominated like this.
For some reason it hurts more that we got this far and yet are being beaten so thoroughly. It would be another thing if it was competitive, but this is just embarrassing.
It's comical this thread gets bumped after a WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS loss. There are a lot of not so bright posters in the GARM
you really can't overstate the seriousness of losing Beverly. D-mo would have been a luxury, but you really need a pg in the playoffs.
I say this as as respectful as possible. You are a ****ing clueless idiot. Your posts are an abhorrence to this forum. Please stop causing those of us with a brain the displeasure of having to see your posts. Thanks.
Bev is not a PG though. He's a lousy playmaker, a mediocre shooter, and his defense isn't even that great this season. Plus, we cannot rely on him staying healthy past March. He's gotten hurt 2 straight years with the playoffs only a few weeks away. If he can be had for cheap as a backup next season, fine. Otherwise, let him walk and find a real PG.
Anyone that wants Morey fired just makes me sick. We're in the Western Conference Finals while missing two starters. Come on, y'all.
Money is a good GM, but he is way way way overrated and overhyped on this board. If he had his way, this team will be built around Pau Gasol + NeNe as the 2 best players. Fortunately David Stern inadvertently saved Moreys skin and the Rockets with his veto.
He wasn't either overrated or underrated. He is just mediocre. I meant he is not a magician. His stats are pretty useful but basketball is a mental and very physical game..
