I still remember when Morey signed House and 75% of Clutchfans was whining in that thread about how trash he was. Now he's the savior. lol

If he kills it in the g league: it doesn't matter!

If he gets cut by the Warriors: see, he sucks!

If he starts and plays well for the Rockets: anyone can do that!

Too funny. He's an average player who fits well. Those players are worth $3.1m per season, helpful backup, highly tradable, excellent filler for trade packages, there's no one on the market at this moment who is projected to do better for the next 25 games than House did for his 25 games.

The Rockets insistence on being cheap and playing in the contract negotiations championship is costing us a useful rotation player in a time of need. As you can see, even if you're only going to play 8 guys, you need more than 8 guys. You need depth, you need tactical options. They should convert him tomorrow and when he's restricted only match if it's a good contract. If he walks, we lost nothing that we wouldn't have by shelving him in the G league.

Oh and no one is calling him a savior or an amazing player or saying he's worth tons of money. Average player, cheap price, good fit. You don't have to be extreme to make your point. I was one of the first to express total pessimism about him, the difference is I'm not stubborn and I have no problem giving a man his due when he proves it.

 

Honestly I been trying to think positive and keep quiet about this .. but we need house .. not because he’s an all star but because he fit one of our biggest needs and it made everyone forget about Trevor Ariza .. he fit this team like a glove and played great defense ... pay the man something if we are serious about win now mode!!
