Lol, Morey is one of clutchfan's favorite punching bag. U figure the man who led our team from 2007-2019 with no losing record should deserve some more respect, but nah. He "failed" to sign House to a long-term deal, and waited too long to convert the 2-way contract = he's trash. These House fanatics failed to realized that the team created by the shtty GM this season still has a chance to compete for 1st!

Alright one last thing, alot of these responses are pretty reasonable tbh. Setting aside the payment thing cause a player should always go for what he thinks he's worth and do whats best for himself and his family. Other than that, most of that was reasonable. Morey wanted House. He tried to sign him and then planned to bring him back when that failed. Tilman forced him to play the luxury tax game. That whole charade was about money, not putting the best team possible on the court. Definitely not Moreys fault.
I think it's funny when people go with this arguement: 'he's not really a good player he is just looking good as a product of James Harden and the Rockets system' Well guess what? Thats what we need. I don't care if he sucks with the Suns. I don't care if he sucks in the Warriors system. I want the player who fits like the perfect puzzle piece in our system. Not everyone can do that, look at Shumpert for example. If we sign House long term, guess what system he will be playing in? The Rockets. If we sign House long term, guess who he will be playing alongside? James Harden. I want the player that fits well in our system, that we know meshes with our superstars. If EVERYONE could look good playing next to James Harden then we wouldn't have found it so difficult to find a wing that looks so good & complements so well next to Harden. We heard the same thing with Capela. Truth is, not everyone can do what Capela does. Capela looks better next to James Harden than Dwight Howard ever did. Give props where it's due
Using Shumpert whos gone through any injuries and just started to play with us is not a good example. We had no money to sign any wings to play next to James Harden. And any player THE SUNS WITH THE WORST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE cut should give anyone pause. I get where you are coming from, but people had logical concerns.
