Even if D'Antoni preferred the Bulls, I think the Bulls want to interview Tom Thibadeaux after the Celtics quit playing. He will be a lot less expensive and that's what the Bulls are looking for. Plus, he emphasizes defense.

I don't think D'Antoni fits New York (the players, franchise and city) but you never know.

I just heard about it on the radio. I hope he can turn that franchise around.

Nate Robinson should have fun with him.

I would bet that the Knicks are going to fire sale a lot of their players this off season.

Edit.. that made me go look at their roster.

Who of these fit the D'antoni system?

    Code:

Nate Robinson, David Lee, Ronaldo Balkman these are probably the 3 least likely players to NOT go anywhere.

Q-Rich- has had success under D'antoni before and it would be nice to see him revive his career.

Zbo- A talent for sure. I'm not sure he will fit into the plans/system though.

    Stephon Marbury- Same as Zbo.

Why? I think its funny that they suck so bad with that payroll. I'd hate for him to mess with that.

LOL! Zach Randolph and Eddie Curry need to ask Stern's permission to wear roller blades on the court to run.

But Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford will be happy thou.

All apart of Stern's plans. The Knicks will soon be a good team again. Watch LeBron somehow get traded there.

Marbury I would imagine gets the buyout or the trade-buyout with only one year left on his deal.

The knicks are making the playoff next season. They got rid of Isiah, which is addition by subtraction, and now they get d'antoni. They will win at least twice as many games.

Wow I really didn't see that coming.

I am intrigued at the possibility of Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph running D'Antoni's run and gun offense (assuming they will still be there next season)

This is actually a very good fit for the Knicks, since their players don't play defense anyways.

They should have waited for Tom Thibadeaux. He could instill some defense into that team. It would have been great for the NY fans that appreciated JVG's old knicks, whose defense was by Tom.

I would have given Mark Jackson a chance. He would have emphasized passing and defense. I don't think D'Antoni can do much with the personnel that he has in NY. Marbury hasn't been Starbury for years.
