    does anyone realize Ferry was reading a scouting report on Deng from a commissioned scout and that was not him just saying it?

    what does that even mean? are Africans known for selling counterfeit stuff from the back of their shops? I have never heard this stereotype

    Like others have stated, Lu is a class act. It would be difficult to find anyone in Basketball or non-Basketball circles that knows him or has met him to find a bad word to say about him. :)

    At least Morey is not prejudiced. He calls everyone "assets" except for his two stars. LOL

    Who was Danny Ferry talking/writing to? I wonder what the context was, why he would imply Luol Deng would cheat? Ferry also is not the sharpest tool in the toolshed.

    I'd agree with this. It's not the right thing to say but I don't consider it to be that terrible of a thing. How offended would any of us be if we were playing sports in Europe and somebody said that we still had some "American" in us and then gave an insulting example.

    In the context of what he was saying, that seems like what he was referring to: Deng would 'scam' you if you signed him ie; wouldn't be what you thought he was (think Ariza in his first season when he had a new role)
