I believe they were no longer teammates when the Parker / Mrs. Barry thing happened. There's also a bit of LA media bias, so of course this story was going to blow up.

 

Not just media bias.

Swaggy P, Iggy Azalea, Russell, Social media/instagram aspect; are just more interesting that Brent Barry, Tony Parker. Or Tim Duncan

 

Eva and TP were on Swaggy/Izzy's level back then.

 

Idk why people are trying to make a hero out of Russell. He's saying the video was a prank and it was never intended to be released. This means his was NEVER planning on telling Iggy that she was being cheated on. The only reason we know about this is because it was accidentally released.

Russell did this because he thought it was funny, not because he respects women.

If he really gave a damn about Iggy, he would have just shown her the video in private and all we would know is that the marriage between Iggy and Young was off.

You have a guy that is a professional athlete in LA, picking up women in LA while media is following, while engaged to a more famous woman... Also openly talking about his "side pieces".... Just stupid.

Only to be topped by a 20 year old, completely over his head and immature secretly videotaping conversations that are sensitive in nature.... Then 3 months later posting them on a public forum....

Then you have the girlfriend going public about the whole thing.

Crazy and I don't see how anyone can have positive feelings about Russell or Young.

The one thing I forgot to mention was that I don't understand why some people think she would be okay with finding out something like this 3rd hand. When I found out my ex gf was cheating on me through the grapevine, I wasn't "thankful", I was embarrassed.
