Offer Jones, Dmo, #18, and #32 to Hinkie for #3 overall. Draft Russell and trade Pap away for nothing. Sign LMA, resign Brewer with bird rights, resign Smith, Terry, and Scola to vet min... Russel/NJ Harden/Terry Ariza/Brewer LMA/Smith/Scola Howard/Capela The perfect offseason...
The secret to any draft for roughly the last 20 years if you are looking for a FRANCHISE player is to draft a player with a last name that is a first name. I started noticing this trend about 7 or 8 years ago and every year it holds true. The one guy with a first name for a last name is the standout player. I always look at who is eligible in the draft with that name and pray the Rockets can draft him but we never get to. Obviously, there are other players that are huge stars (Harden, Garnett, Durant, Westbrook, etc.) but the guys I'm about to mention are usually ranked in top 10 or so for a long time. There are some young bloods on this list but you can tell they will be future hall of famers. Let me give y'all some examples, here's 16 (in alphabetical order): ____Ray ALLEN (Top 5 SG for years) Carmelo ANTHONY (Top 3 SF for years) ___Kobe BRYANT (#1 SG for over a decade and best player) Anthony DAVIS (Already the best big in the league) ___ Tim DUNCAN (#1 PF in league for years) ___Paul GEORGE (Top 3 SF's recently) _Dwight HOWARD (Best Center for years as well as DPOY 3 times) __ Kyrie IRVING (On track to be one of the top PG's for years) _LeBron JAMES (#1 SF since drafted and #1 or #2 best player) _Joakim NOAH (Chicago's anchor for years - One of the top defenders in league) __Kawhi LEONARD (Already Finals MVP and DPOY) ___Chris PAUL (#1 PG for years) ____Paul PIERCE (Top 3 SF for a decade) ___Zach RANDOLPH (a bit of a stretch on ranking but great player nonetheless) __ Derek ROSE (Reaching here with a girls first name but Still works - MVP) _Dwyane WADE (Top 3 SG for years - Champion) That being said, D'Angelo RUSSELL sounds like a good bet!
you have to much time but the cavs must of found out this aswell when they drafted anthony bennett other rockets terrence Jones nick Johnson Jason Terry Josh Smith and of coarse papanikalou
U haven't any salary cap concept! Draft Russel, we cann't offer LMA max contract! Although if LMA would come here amd doesn't want max, we can offer only min vet salary to Smith & Brewer
I think one of those two is exactly what Philly is looking for, so I doubt it, but I'd absolutely unprotect 2016, NOP pick, one of DMo/Jones, and Llull's rights to get up there for Russell.

For all the flack the Sixers have weathered, if they can land Russell and get lucky enough to get the Laker's pick and draft a guy like Winslow, they could be a playoff team next year with Embid and Saric added to the front line. And that core could be fantastic going forward before even considering a couple of solid veteran pickups with all their cap room. Good for them.
That Hinkie stare is so creepy! I wonder how Russel's defence will be in the next level. and btw there's not way that Philly will trade out of the picking him. They don't like Mudiay and Russel had been their target from the beginning. The only very remote possibillity is if the Lakers don't take the second big but draft him instead they could be persuaded to trade Okafor or Noel for multiple picks.
