That's the buzz pre draft. Post draft Feign mentioned their true target was MKG if he falls to 5th. Another thread about Bobcat's draft board also reveals the potential trade for MKG.
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/k...tacks-elite-opponents-and-rookie-of-year-race Lillard was rookie of Oct/Nov, and is first quarter ROY considered by many. Hits game winning shot again last night. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...hornets-damian-lillard-three-pointer/1774127/
I'm a big Lillard fan. I'd want him on my team too. He's a true winner, he's poised and he's got the balls to fight and win a game.
http://www.nba.com/2013/news/05/01/...kie-of-the-year.ap/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpts ROY. Well deserved.
Yes sir. Perused back through this thread a bit. Some of you guys really know how to spot talent. ; ) And some of you don't.
No problem with that after he learns not to torch the Rockets before that. He is getting paid one or the other way. Irving would be in discussion as well if Rockets had the money, the spot, and interest from the player or team. Don't mind Rondo once Jeremy's contract is gone. Dragic, Lowry are other names. Beverley is solid but has been severely overrated.
I actually think Lillard is superior to Irving and I don't see that changing for me unless Irving actually becomes able to defend somebody.
Lillard has 3 point shooters and LMA to bail him out and / or take the defensive pressure off him. Irving has...Deng? Waiters? Kid needs to leave that trash team for a contender. I think Irving's stats will be even better when he's not the only player opposing defenses need to focus on.
You underestimate the gift of passing as a PG. Lol Allstar game is all star game but he is the star among stars. That guy can do it all. Lillard might be the better scorer
