    You guys have this all mixed up. It's not amazing performance that gets him the amazing deal. It's the amazing deal that's going to get him the amazing performance. Adidas can see that he's good enough to be made into a superstar, somehow.

    Actually... It's odd thinking about ADIDAS and their history of big names.

    Their "5" used to be:

    Tim Duncan
    Kevin Garnett
    Tracy McGrady
    Gilbery Arenas
    Dwight Howard

    Derrick Rose
    Damian Lillard

    They've struck out a few times. McGrady, Arenas, and Rose all suffered big injuries. McGrady and Rose did have some great shoes, so not a total failure. Arenas was their biggest fail.

    lilliard's not overrated.

    i dont know if other fans look at this cite...but i hope they skip over your analysis.

    lilliard is going to be a very, very good player for a long time. dude has ice in his veins.

    also...pretty funny that he signed with adidas...bev is w/ adidas too

    Smart of Lillard to get this done right now.

    After Pat Bev is done with him, he would have been lucky to get a $100 deal with Payless.

    Lillard is a great pg and super clutch too, but after this series against Bev, he will feel that he has gone through the gauntlet. In the new article from SI whom one our posters generoulsy posted in another thread, Bev stated he did not even wanted to work with Stephen Curry (when he came to Houston), so he left town and only came back when Curry left. Bev is one bad dude and he is going to chew and spit out Lillard.
