You have to be kidding me. The police officer could have easily followed Moats to the room if he doubted his story. This is ridiculous. People like yourself make it even worse.

You're wasting your time on TJ. He's not really looking for the facts of the case. He's looking to stir up a very unfortunate situation. Thing is, I actually don't have any negative bias toward Police Officers. In general, the few experiences I have had with them have been handled professionally. This police officer is obviously someone who shouldn't be in a position of power.

The facts never stopped you from believing what you want. Stay in the D&D.

So I watched the video. The two women got to go inside the hospital, but not after verbally abusing the cop. Not exactly respectful attitudes on display by the passengers, either.

This is being blown WAAAAAY out of proportion.

See how you feel when your mother is about to die and some asshat cop with a small dick and a power trip starts getting his rocks off about how he can haul you to jail.

    What an infuriating story.

It was Moats' mother-in-law. That's a different set of reactions.

I think he means to say that you can't react that way unless it's your mother. Your mother-in-law doesn't matter.

If it took 13 minutes, then 11 of them were left off the video. I think one can infer that at that point Moats probably sat in the car while the officer checked his record and sat in his car waiting. It seems this is where this was headed before the video skips to the end when Moats is allowed to enter the hospital with a couple of nurses present. Not really much aggression or wrongdoing on Moats' part at all. Cop could have easily followed him into the hospital. This has to be somewhat common (people ignoring traffic signals in close proximity to the hospital, i.e. rushing to the emergency room.) What is the standard procedure for police to follow?

WOW, are you serious? You were talking about the wife's reaction in the above post. Either way, the cop was being an ass.

Probably to not set up traffic stops and pull people over at the entrance to the hospital. That would be my guess.

Not only that, but he rolled his eyes on himself  . He is The MAN. You have to be one really cool cat to reply, answer and roll your eyes at yourself.
