Executive producer is an honorary title for whoever threw the most money at the project. Lebron made mavericks so rich lol
The fact that LeBron is investing in so many projects, especially the movie/tv business is definitely a major point scored for LA.
He can easily play basketball in another city, win championships, retire, then spend the rest of his life in Los Angeles. But, when I think about Kobe's ridiculous Academy Award, maybe playing a few years in front of those L.A. dipshits would help grease the wheels for whatever projects Bronny Sr. is working on... Who knows?
Why would Lebron want to play for the Lakers anyway? What exactly do they have that makes them attractive other than Hollywood?
There's no basketball reasons why he'd want to play for the Lakers, the ONLY thing they have going for them is location, he's essentially giving up on ever winning another championship if he goes there.
It's LA, has 2 homes there, can bring another star with him & shape the team the way he wants it. In addition to that one star he can bring, Chris Paul, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, John Wall, Russell Westbrook, DeMarcus Cousins, Damian Lillard & CJ McCollum are also joining him.
I just mean the way I see it is he's leaving Cleveland cus he wants to win, well...the Lakers ain't gonna help that, and he's just going to have to deal with us and the warriors in the west.
Well based on what I've been told, you can take CP3 off that list. He's going to be a Rocket for the next 4 years.
Yeah, him and Paul George are LA bound. Trade Ryno, bring in a quality role player like Redick or somebody. That's the hope at this point.
Yeah, I still don't buy that he legitimately wants to throw away the rest of his career just to hang out a bit more often in LA. We'll see.
