Wade still scored 16 pts per game last year. He has regressed but is just a bit below Eric Gordon level imho. He will be big for them because Cavs already have elite roleplayers who can space like KLove and Jae Crowder.

    Wade/Crowder/Lebron/Love/Thompson.

That is a really solid best 5.

DRose is just a spacer until IT comes back. Just like that scrub MDA played the first 10 games last year till Bev came back.

J.R. Smith 'Absolutely' Frustrated by Losing Starting Role to Dwyane Wade

    Cleveland Cavaliers
guard J.R. Smith said Tuesday that he is "absolutely" frustrated about losing his starting job in favor of the newly signed Dwyane Wade.

According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, Smith said he is trying to move forward in his new role: "We talked about it. It wasn't the most positive conversation, but we talked about it and we'll get through it together."

On Monday, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue announced D-Wade would be part of his starting lineup when the regular season begins Oct. 17 at home against the Boston Celtics.

Smith said he "kind of knew" he was destined for the bench when Wade signed and lamented the notion that he didn't get a fair opportunity to keep his starting role: "Was working hard all summer and then coming in and not even really having a chance to earn my spot, but it's alright. It is what it is."

Dwyane Wade considered Thunder, Lakers, Heat before choosing Cavs

Former NBA player Caron Butler told TMZ that Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dwyane Wade considered the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers as potential destinations after his buyout from the Chicago Bulls.

Butler noted that, while the pair were having dinner, Wade revealed that he wanted to retire in Miami. He added that Wade considered Oklahoma City given the team's need for a solid scorer off the bench and Los Angeles given his wife Gabrielle Union's career as an actress.

If you remove the mention of Miami and OKC from that dinner conversation, it becomes readily apparent that Butler and Wade brought their dates to the dinner, and Wade had to mention the Lakers for Gabrielle's career or he wasn't getting any that night.

NBA players not getting any is not going to happen. He just gets it somewhere else.
