This has to be the hardest signing of a role player ever. It just never ends. What next.

Hows it Morey's fault Dmo failed his physical? Is Morey supposed to be totally stupid and pay an injured player millions of dollars in guaranteed money? F you too

Have we actually heard for sure that he even did fail his physical? It seems premature to assume that based on sketchy "sauces"

Yeah, nothing has been confirmed but I guess him not being healthy at all is the easiest assumption. Obviously, if everything was good then it'd all be different and people would be talking about what's happening. Now even Morey with no comment.

Morey declined to comment on DMo's situation when asked.

Yeah but the report that came out last night suggested that the Rockets were just waiting on more medical records to come in before clearing him, so I'm just saying that there's no reason to assume it's a failed physical.

I am kinda hoping that's the case. They might be unsure about some stuff and hence waiting for more results. But this whole situation with DMo has gotten so outta hand. Can't really even count how many times I thought "it can't get any worse" and it did.

While the Rockets are doing great without DMo, extra depth is always good, especially in the playoffs.

Yes, but as long as it is actual depth.
If DMo comes in and plays like he did last year, we are better off NOT having him and giving Wiltjer the emergency minutes. Or signing JSmoov again. Or whatever - he was totally useless last year, and if the due diligence shows that his back isn't better, then what hope is there that he will recapture his form from 2 years ago pre-injury?

Too many question marks over him at this stage. But maybe he'll get 3 more body scans? I dunno...

Daryl Morey didn't screw up Motiejunas. BJ Armstrong and Motiejunas' lack of basic intelligence ruined Motiejunas basketball career.

This is a troll post, right??? DMo (if he actually failed physical and it was his back...) can't blame DM, unless.. he inherited his bad back from DM. That would be great layer to add to this drama. Daddy DM, hahah

We don't need DMO now, but he will come into play when injuries inevitably hit the team or Gordon loses his hot streak. We need guys who can reliably put points on the table and honestly besides Harden DMO is actually the 2nd most versatile scorer on this team, he can pass, score in the post, shoot the 3 and also has a midrange game. Our bigs rely on Nene and ANderson, two injury prone big men so I would really like DMo here to shore up that big man depth.

No matter how any Rox fan feels about the whole situation, when Harrell went down last night, all any of us were thinking was, "Get here soon D-Mo!" (And please don't be hurt Trez)

    Agreed 100%.

That's how good GMs get fired.

Just get DMo in as long as he can play. He doesn't cost us much (other than the 9M for Les that's over the cap anyway). The small opportunity cost is the development of Dekker and Harrell. I am curious if DMo can take the team one notch higher. In the game against OKC, Capela was bullied by Adams and Kanter. I wonder if DMo will be a better matchup against the physical bigs.

Dmo is a nice player but Gordon is much better offensively not to mention he plays the guard position which is much more important in today's NBA in terms of offensive production over a offensive center/pf who's not anywhere near elite.

Gordon is atleast an elite shooter and can attack the basket and make plays for others when going down hill.

Imo dmo best attribute is his passing but it's not more important than what Gordon brings to the table from behind the arc.

Sauces with a conspiracy theory : Joel Blank used to be employed with the Rockets and used to do live radio commentary.

Rockets canned him prolly cause his rhyming became boring.

Now he has used the DMo saga to forge a partnership with DMo and BJ with the intention of making the Rockets look bad or guilt here.

Take his tweets with salt and a grain

Sources - Joel got SCREWED by the Rockets - he got fired over making a joke about an intern. It was disgraceful how they treated him.
