Yeah, well, haters: today is Thursday, and tomorrow is the end of the week. Or maybe even Sunday if we need the weekend to generate the extra hundreds of thousands of kits. Sheesh.
every border or any border (airports, piers, oversea military bases embassies..) that cannot do the real time screening tests. Trump loves to close the borders. It was a correct step. Right now, the virus is pandemic from within. Closing borders is still necessary but far from enough.
"Or, technically, 'the end of the week' doesn't actually specify this week...could mean the week of Christmas or the week of the November elections. If he meant this week, he would have emphasized 'THE' with a hard E before the word week." - Fox and Friends on Friday
So, you want the U.S. to what, stop allowing people from countries with high numbers Coronavirus cases. So, according to trump he has already stopped people from China, and maybe even Iran. But there are a number of countries with high counts, like Italy, Germany, France and Japan. Is he going to block people from those countries? And as you mentioned, the U.S. already has a significant and growing number of cases. Way more than Canada. And way way more than Mexico (only 10 cases, 9 of which recovered already). So if anything, they should be trying to block people from the USA from going there. So should we block people from traveling within the US borders?
San Francisco has its first two cases as well, both hospitalized. It's going to be with us a long time, oscillating southern hemisphere to northern and so on. Hope the vaccines are promising.
https://www.10news.com/news/local-n...-initial-coronavirus-test-comes-back-positive first case in San Diego: "An AT&T official told 10News that a female employee from the Chula Vista Center mall location recently spent time in Italy -- considered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an area “high risk” for the virus -- and returned to work earlier this week." Closing borders is absolutely necessary, to at least protect Mexicans and Canadians. should we block people from traveling within the US borders?------- Yes. definitely. At least, do not visit California or Washington state... here is the first case for San Diego where I live: https://www.10news.com/news/local-n...-workers-initial-coronavirus-test-comes-back-positive "An AT&T official told 10News that a female employee from the Chula Vista Center mall location recently spent time in Italy -- considered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an area “high risk” for the virus -- and returned to work earlier this week." Too bad, the border was not closed enough and people are still travelling and back to work without any quarantine steps. unbelievable.
I think Trump's fate in all this is one of the least important factors, but his marketer's approach to an outbreak could really put his limitations in unusually bright lights. Like that last tweet pretending it's not an outbreak here. God help us.
The dude that delivers my pizza said the exact same thing. Said if he gets the virus he is going to try to shake the President's hand. What a complete and total *******, entirely sickening. I am outraged. Perhaps the pizza delivery driver and and this...... city councilwoman from.... Denver should be admonished for such a sickening and disgusting joke.
