Hope for the best, but the team's effort at getting anything substantial done seems pretty much moribund right now.
The only reason why I have faith something is happening trade wise is because Morey hasn't been doing anything and hasn't been involved in any rumors. What move can possibly be made with our assets/lack there of is beyond me
Proof that any dumba$$ can have a website. You can't send a TPE to another team. I don't know why this is so difficult for people to grasp (I'm getting worse than BimaThug, our expert on these things). It isn't a tradeable commodity. Now, if we were to use the TPE correctly, you can't involve Thad Young anyway, whose salary is just over 9 million dollars this season. It exceeds the amount of the TPE (Jeremy would have counted 8.333 million on the books). Now, we COULD take Dragic using the TPE because his salary would fit into it, and we COULD use Tjones and deid-weight contracts to get Thad Young (it'd have to happen in September). Throwing around all the "assets", Thad Young we could get, given Hinkie's plan on turning the 76ers into a sewage dump that will eventually sprout green leafy beauty. Dragic is another story, given the uncertainty of the Bledsoe situation and the worth (or lack thereof?) of our picks, draft rights to certain players, blah blah blah....
Guys, i posted all the related tweets just to be thorough, but it was the first tweet that I was really asking about. It just doesn't sound like something someone makes up or assumes out of thin air. Either he got it from Drew or someone else. He does have a few media members following (and Dwight), and obviously they aren't that great of a follow if they can't even put a legit deal together, so that makes me wonder if the person running it may still be in their inner circle.

Yes, the trade scenario...that was obvious. i'm referring to the "now Morey will get things moving" tweet. That's not a comment someone just comes up, without having another source to reason that scenario out. Something led him to believe Morey was waiting on the Love situation to end.
