I'd rather have him on Lakers than Mavs, lesser of two evils lol. Speaking as a UVA alum.

Can't they do a Ellis to Indy, 0/0 to LA and Lin to Dallas?

do you think Lin will get such a big salary? I don't think so. But who knows what Cuban is capable of.

No I forgot to say salaries don't match, but I'm guessing they'd at least pay him $8 mil per if they want him to start.

i hated pippen even before he came to HOU or quit on us, hence my referring to him as a gimp.

as far as going for the big name stars, i don't think that necessarily categorized him as a big or more than willing spender. the star names actually make him more money. the guys like derek harper on the last leg of his career don't……and i'll never ever forgive him for not spending a little more to get him in the spring of '97 when he very clearly wanted to come. we probably would have gotten past UTA that year instead of running just maloney at the point.

as an aside, regarding his fascination with big name stars, i've also speculated here (after watching his recent rockets roundtable interview) that it might actually be an ego thing for him where he can brag to his buddies that he has so-and-so big name in his stable of players. his responses in that interview were quite peculiar

it seems the standard for starting pg now is $3/21 or more.. unless you Pbev going for the hometown discount.

Still want Corey Joseph. He kept that spurs team heads above water when Parker was hurt early in the season.

I don't think the Rockets have much of a shot. Philly can give him a starting spot and has plenty of cap space.

I wonder if Morey will do what he did to Dallas earlier: talk to Lakers about Lin in order to drive up the price Dallas pays.

it depends on manu and duncan.

Now that I think it over yes. I agree that Cuban will pay lin 10 per and they can do a three way s+t.

Dallas is limited; you might affect demand, not $$$s.

    Bass signed with the Lakers.
That's it. We can't keep Smoove on the cheap.
