Cyber, please tell me Aldridge is still a possibility, we clearly aren't quite there yet.

    Starting PG
Back-up PG (if we lose Bev)
Back-up SG (desperately need another scorer)
    Back-up PF
Back-up C (to give Capela more time)

We could really use some better 3 point shooters. How about Danny Green? Marco Bellinelli?

Maybe we can give Mo Williams a call? Jared Dudley?

We really need an overhaul at the three point specialist roster spots. I like Brew and would like to keep him but if it means not building on our play style then we may have to let the band go.

If we can resign him at a reasonable price and get two three point shooters to help him spread the floor off the bench then our bench will not look so abysmal. I like Coutrymey Lee and Beno from San Antonio but those may not be available. Any other ideas guys?

Some of you are ridiculous and it's obvious you only look at things from s little fan's perspective that puts his team over everything.

Llull just won the Euroleague with Real and they have one of the two best rosters in Europe. He's receiving major money and is a hero in Spain, will only continue to groß their and could retire as one of the big Euro legends with a ton of titles.

Why should he be trying to go to Houston at all costs? The NBA isn't holy to every player in the world, he has no pressing incentitive to leave his situation.

This would be my ideal lineup

    Dwight/Capela/Chuckwagon
    D-Mo/Jsmith/Scola
    Ariza/Brew
    Harden/Bellinelli or Dudley
    Bev/Mo Williams/jet/Johnson

The second unit cannot look so helpless next year in the playoffs. Please Morey

We still don't have a point guard.

Where are Jones and the 18th pick? Or where is whatever those get traded for? I'm actually hoping for a somewhat more talented roster than that.

I am not of the belief that we need to make huge moves. Our core is a much better team than this 30 point shallacking would lead you to believe. We need minor moves to the roster, perhaps a good number of them but minor nonetheless.moh and my bad I forgot to include the pick I am just so engrossed in these playoffs I lost sight of the draft.

So maybe if we were to trade Jones and the pick we could pick up a solid veteran that can knock down open 3 pointers and can create space and plays for the second unit. What teams need power forwards that finish at the rim like my 7 year old sister? Anyone?

Here's most of the shooters that will be free agents this summer: John Jenkins, Mirza Teletovich, Mike Dunleavy, Jimmer (lol), Marco Belinelli, Wes Matthews, Danny Green

Danny would be perfect because he can guard PGs and play next to Harden, but he'll likely command too much, and it's always hard to pry talent from San Antonio.

I really hope we can get Lawson on this team or something. I hope most of the guys return. Turning the entire team over every year is not helping either. What good will it do us if most of the guys that experienced this deep playoff run are playing on other teams?

Smith has to go though, way too up and down and at times he's giving next to 0 effort out there.

This is true. Which is why Belenelli may be there for the taking. They can't pay everyone and keep Duncan, at least I don't think so. Wes Matthews would actually be an interesting addition as well.

I think it is safe to say our big rotation of Dwight/D-Mo/Capela is going to be a consistent of next season. I wonder if there is any chance we let go of Smith and Jones. While they may not be the sharpest tools in the shed they do provide some semblance of athleticism in the paint. But as it stands DM's priorities should lie in the backcourt.

I'd resign Smith if he will for cheap. That frees up T-Jones as an asset to trade somewhere else, but still have depth for the bigs. I think we need to explore the Lawson/Lowry angles first, but hopefully we can bring them in and have Morey find a few spare parts here and there like he always does.

On the list of potential vet-min guys, I'd look out for Brandon Bass, Chuck Hayes, and Scola to add to our big depth if we decide not to resign Josh Smith.

People kinda getting bent out of shape over some semi-innocuous off-the-cuff microphone-in-his-face what-the-eff-do-you-expect-him-to-say? comments from Llull.

Maybe the Rockets asked him not to tip their hand....for various reasons. Maybe he doesn't want to upset his current fanbase or organization.

I wish he'd come over, sure. Prigioni shot his wad last series. Terry played like a rookie tonight. If any team is desperate for a fire-in-his-ass point guard, it's the Rockets. If nothing else, Llull plays with fire (and not with his head up his ass).

Arron Afflalo is a 3&D perimeter player that is a 38.5% for his career from 3 and was 40% this season.

Alex Renfroe is a vet point guard in Europe who is now a free agent. Is a left with a sweet jump shot and he's proven he can knock it down consistently in big games.

Add these shooters to your list.
