I would be happy to be rid of Shved. Can we use him to get an upgrade for Dorsey? Also, thanks for all of the info, J.R.
Well in fairness, they can't exactly get "close" when a player that would almost certainly be in any deal isn't available to trade till tomorrow
Nothing is happening. I'll be back tomorrow - gotta get some work done today so I can properly F5 and hang on every split-second rumor. I bet we hit 2000 pages by close of trade deadline.
If I had to guess, I'd say he's hellbent on going to LA, NY, or Miami like it's been reported. Ideally he'd want to be traded to one of those teams so he can get a 5-year max deal from them this summer, but none of them appear to have the assets that Phoenix wants. But Dragic is trying to scare off other teams from trading for him, hence the leaks about not wanting to resign with the Celtics or Rockets.
This will quite obviously go down to the last hour. Let the good times roll, CF! My prediction In: Lawson, Kanter Out: Terry, Jones, Pap, NOP Pick, NYK 2nd round pick.
I think something up his sleeve implies a deal for a player other than Dragic (like Lawson), which would go along with the reports.

I'm going to be very upset if we don't make an impactful move. With the strategic date of the Brewer/Shved trade and the trading Asik for a draft pick, I've really been expecting something exciting to happen at the deadline.
Bill, go home, you're old and drunk. You think they're getting Lawson AND Kanter for the price of Goran Dragic?
