Me too. But, I guess after the highs of Woj's tweets saying "Hou moving quickly to secure Bosh and will then match Parsons", we're all just NEEDING something fairly big to happen - instead of hearing next that we've signed T-Will or Camby (again).
Every time Morey talks since "Doomsday", he references the TPE as if its some sort of key asset that is a consolation to the whole situation & the Pelles pick. Morey has obviously moved on from free agency, and is heavily focused on starting to talk to teams about trades. I'm going to be shocked if Morey doesn't make multiple trades by the time the season starts & at the deadline. Free agency right now is just all about filling out your roster with training camp invites. Would you rather pay your 14th - 15th man on your roster a mil or 5 mil? Morey is doing the smart thing by getting vets that will take the minimum and know the Rockets style of play enough to have a productive training camp. The really gem is going to come in a trade I can almost promise you that much, and its probably going to come in the form of a player you wouldn't in your right might ever think they were going to trade for like pretty much every trade Morey has made before.
This is correct. His dad works for Berman or something of the sort. He's not always right but he posts what he hears. Maybe he embelishes from time to time, who knows. He was right on with Parsons though. He says Saturday is the day, so we'll soon find out.

Agree with you. There are no guarantees that Morey will get a star or major contributor, but no one works harder or is more creative than Morey. If there is a trade to be made, he will make it. Morey meant it when he said the Rockers were not throwing this year away.
He also said they would match Parsons. And that Melo would be a Rocket. And the Rockets were trading for Rondo. And probably a bunch of other nonsense I can't be bothered to list. "He's not always right" = every prognosticator ever.
