It seems like nfl has so many juicers and no one cares or at least not like baseball.

    Didn't think about that.

    Still, this blows.

Why aren't we disgusted with him like we are for Bonds, Sosa, Mark, etc? Is it because he plays for us? Is it because we don't care about roids in football?

I'm thoroughly disgusted on a number of levels. I don't care if it's football.

Huge buzzkill for the fans of this team.

I have a feeling this won't be a the last time this happens to him. There were rumors of him doing it in college yet he still try to get away with it in the nfl. He looks hard headed and I wouldn't be surprise if it happens again.

Because we're numb to steroid use. It was a big deal when the steroid scandal broke out in baseball because until that point steroids wasnt on the minds of everyone.

But after that whole charade, I find it hard to generate any anger.

That said, I'm not surprised this happened at all.

The stuff just works too well. Read somewhere that 3 out of the last 8 rookie of the year winners were busted for banned substances. Peppers included.

Guys take the risk because it works.

My level of surprise about Cushing testing positive for Steroids is somewhere between my level of surprise that Hulk Hogan took steroids and my level of surprise that Arnold Schwarzenegger took them.

Guy was obviously a juicebox from day 1.

This was my big concern about him (and the rest of the USC corps) going into the 2009 draft. Ugh.

And it sucks knowing that this is a rampant issue in the NFL, he just had the misfortune of getting caught. Oh well.

Man, I am sorry to hear this. Since the Astros suck so bad this year, I was really looking forward to football. If we get off to a bad start this year everyone will say just wait until Cushing gets back. We have some tough games early in the season so this really pisses me off.

If the texans survive pre-season than it wont be so bad but add a few signifcant injuries to this and an 1-3 start is pretty likely...

    1) NFL

    2) Linebacker

    3) Pre-draft rumors

I am actually more upset the moron got caught. If this was Bags or Biggo I would be devastated but no one in the NFL would surprise me.

Yeah, he then later said(which now appears to be deleted) that he had a family emergency and was flying back to NJ. All interviews, etc. cancelled.
