Cushing Elected Team Captain

well deserved. i love the fire he brings to our defense.

 

Hmm... hopefully he's not still on the juice, otherwise they need to get a backup in line.

I did like how it seems like he has a nice rapport with BOTH sides of the ball... as that video showed him joking with Arian/Schaub as well as the defense.

 

First change in defensive captain in about 4 years and that will be surpassed by Cushing most likely . . .

Great job Cushing, way to earn your teammates respect with the effort!

 

Did anyone lose their captain status?

 

Has to be Demeco, since he doesn't play in all defensive snaps. Congrats Cushing, hope you get mic'd up again this week.

 

Demeco still had a Gold "C" on his jersey on Sunday. I did not notice if Antonio Smith still had his. Or maybe they gave him Andre's since he has not been in the lineup

 

Yeah, I noticed that Cushing had the Captains C.
Demeco still has his, and his is gold because he's been captain for five years. I'm going to say it's Mario's.


Might be wrong, but I think these are the team captains.

Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, Antonio Smith, Demeco Ryans, Brian Cushing, and Neil Rackers.

There's no set rule about how many captains a team can have. I think they just added a spot for Cushing. Nobody got stripped of their title.

 

So should we call him "Captain Crush"
