    You could've made a good argument towards supernatural conspiracies against the team for the 2009 team... but not this one...


    With this one, it was anything but a guarantee... winning the first round would've been fool's gold... They weren't going anywhere deep without facing a few harsh realities about themselves, from management on down...

    not cursed. just the ups and downs of winning in the playoffs. With the young core, i think this was good. They have things to work on (mainly in the defensive end) and the offense needs work.

    They can come back next year better and more experienced.

    Is Houston a joke sports city? Worse than Cleveland?

    Serious question: Is Houston a joke sports city? Cursed? Pathetic? Are we the equivalent of Cleveland or worse?

    Rockets - Terrible coaching, no defense, always getting bounced out of the 1st round when we have superstar talent in Pippen, Barkley, Yao, T-Mac, Howard, Harden. Yet, they nickname themselves "Clutch City"

    Astros - obviously suck... say what you will about their "farm" system, they're still not competing and have been a complete joke/last for years now.

    Texans - 2-14... last place, fired coach, fired QB, will probably draft another damn defensive lineman, total disappointment, total embarrassment, been worst team in the NFL 3 times now for 3 number one draft picks in their short lifespan.

    To be a Cleveland fan must be truly heartbreaking, when it comes to sports.

    Houston has at least been successful in years past. Aside from LeBron carrying the Cavs to the Finals (in which they got swept), I can't remember the last time a Cleveland sports team did something in their respective postseason worth mentioning.

    Have you BEEN to Cleveland? One thing about Houston, if the teams aren't playing well there are tons of other entertainment options. Some of the most rabid fan bases around are in spots where their teams ARE the entertainment.

    I'll ride and die with my Houston teams.
