The dude won't catch a break. He was having such a great season and now this. http://www.mercurynews.com/warriors/ci_22390965/golden-state-warriors-charles-jenkins-eager-show-off?source=rss
After chasing a loose ball in shootaround.... really got to wonder how long he will hold up. He's got to be their MVP though -- Warriors were killed without him.
He let me down in fantasy last year because of injuries. Sucks because when healthy, he can put up some monster stats.
He's shooting 46% from 3pt range this season while taking almost 7 shots per game. Absolutely unreal production.
They should trade him seriously. Can't build a franchise around that guy, you just can't. Let some other stupid team think they can.
man that sucks, the kid is seriously talented and could be an elite PG if he would just stay healthy.. unfortunately he's more fragile than anyone in the nba not named brandon roy
they had a choice to keep him or monta ellis... i always thought it should have been monta they kept until this season when curry has been balling out of his head. if he could just stay healthy the risk would pay off huge.
They're good this season in large part because they no longer have Monta on their roster. Seriously, listen to Bucks fans, a significant amount of them hate him already and those who think he's an OK piece moving forward at least agree that one of him or Jennings have to go. Can't have an offense if you've got a low BBIQ chucker.
That sucks... His ankle is so fragile and after two surgeries on the same ankle, it will help it hold up but will take away the longevity of it. This is the 2nd time Curry sprained that same ankle this season already. At the beginning of the season when someone ran into his ankle... I like Curry's game and I hope he gets better. He's a great PG and definitely a top 5 right now. But as good as he is, I just don't know how long he can last... But one thing about Curry's game that will outlast his ankles is his shooting touch. Later in his career, he can be a great veteran PG off the bench to make big 3 pointers...
Monta Ellis is a magnificent ball player and he's exciting to watch. But you're right about him not helping his team win much. Both Jennings and Ellis are great at getting their numbers or whatever but doesn't help the team much. That's why the Bucks aren't that good even in for an Eastern team. Having a backcourt of Ellis and Jennings is just a bad mix from the beginning. When Ellis was traded to the Bucks, I'm sure most people knew that it wouldn't really help the Bucks much despite how much of an explosive scorer Ellis is. Monta Ellis isn't the type of guy you would have your offense run through him. I think with Ellis, he's not fit for a starter but I believe he would make a great sixth man. Its really hard to run plays for Ellis simply because he loves playing 1 on 1 but he's perfect for a broken play possession. .
Feel bad for them but if this means they go on a losing streak and increase our chances of being 6-8 in the West, I'm not going to feel sorry about that.
"It was really a freak injury," Warriors coach Mark Jackson I wasn't really into the whole injury prone thing, but certain cases recently have opened my eyes to this phenomenon.
He's a better player than Monta though. It's really sad to him go down this early with injuries though. Yao Ming, Greg Oden, Brandon Roy...the NBA would have been even more amazing if these players had reached their potential.
dude needs to spend some good money and get a shoe designed for his weight, foot contour, strength, flexibility. a shoe that is literally part of him
