The Cubs acquistion of Tony Womack does nothing but help the Astros in their quest to win the division.
Man, Ramirez, Lofton, Simon, and now Womack. What do the Astros have to show for it? Rick White. Yay. We're better than the Cubs in the first place though, so it shouldn't end up mattering.
Why are you including Womack in any discussion of players the Cubs have acquired that will help put them over the top? He is a horrible offensive player and is an average (at best) defensive player. He may help them as a pinch runner, but Rick White is a much more valuable acquisition than Tony Womack.
