I've had my crow for saying I didn't think KJ had it in him to be a real starting CB in the NFL. I was absolutely wrong, and I'm happy about it!
no time to read the entire discussion, but I'm with OP and eating crow. well done, KJ. didn't even fall down this year. well done to the secondary coach, too, one would assume.
mmm, really? I saw the QBs throwing more at Joseph than Kareem. Joseph gave more big plays to WRs, than Jackson did.
1. Our pass rush this year sucked ass. 2. Our back-up safeties are horrendous. *cough* Demps *cough* Keo *cough*
No pass rush, Nickel backs getting roasted from time to time, horrific safety play from Manning, Demps, Keo, Joseph unhealthy most of the season...
We're pretty good in base defense but against the good QB's - we're forced to play nickel and we get burned every time.
Injured nickle, no 3rd safety, and most importantly ........absolutely no pass rush from anyone but watt.
He was horrible last year, but greatly improved this year. I think we all gave it to him for last year's roast fest, but he deserves props and maybe even a pro bowl selection over J-Jo for his great play this year. He still needs to improve to be better next year and not draw as many PI.
