I don't see them just changing the color. Heck after wearing my hat for over 10 years it's practically that color now.... I doubt I'd even buy a new hat if it's just a new color...
disagree re: open star suckage. Prefer the classic 80s logo; but I actually like both open star logos.
What looks more generic, either of the open star logos or the star that was behind the H? Just sayin'. Clutch's star on the Astros theme has more originality than the star in the 80's logo.
Hey Now, can you just give us a decent rundown? Its there any shooting star or rainbows design on the new uni's?
is there an H on the hat? how do you know all this? and, suggestion...how about you tell us "what your suggestion" for the new unis would be?
There's not not an H......... .....(There's a H)..... Ancient Chinese secret? I can't really get into it but I have very good information.... My suggestion wouldn't look anything like what they're doing....
i gather that we will probably like the cap (and it is likely a reboot or copy of the old one), and be underwhelmed by the uni's? i'm excited and not-so-excited all at once. thanks for the info, as cryptic as it may be.
No open star? Great news. From what I can tell by the clues in the thread - we will have old school hats (orange with blue star?) with uniforms that have nothing but text on them - like the last ones on the right on this post: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6915169&postcount=304 Something like this (the last image on right)
Those are nice, I guess. I was hoping for something simple like that as the road, and the shooting star at home: (1965-1970)
I'm not sure how I understand how discreetly saying yes or no is any different than just saying 'yes' or 'no'. This isn't a conversation occurring in real life. If you are going to confirm people's guesses and assumptions through small text, emoticons and textual coughs - that is no different than just running through a list of what you know. Unless you are just enjoying the game for your own personal satisfaction............ While I don't think MLB or the Astros really give a damn enough to hunt you down (if you actually are in the know, 1. spilling beans about uniform changes is not illegal 2. it would would be impossible for the parties listed above to get the warrants needed to track you down and question you on your source of information....and even then, grounds for firing would be tricky....and that's only if you caved for God knows what reason and gave them information that would be impossible for them to prove you obtained from an employee).
Watch it's gonna be something totally different than what's hinted...a blue, gold and brick red rainbow uni with an H over open star logo. But I'd be fine with the far right...with better lettering.
