One time I went to Alief to pick up a mattress off craigslist.

I was like oh **** I'm in the ghetto. But that didn't stop me from getting a sweet pillow top mattress for $100. Then I took it home and the left side was like all messed up.

But on the flip side I did buy a $1200 sectional from some mexican folk in Cypress for $350 earlier that day.

Rich get poorer, poor get richer. Just like in real life.

I bought new furniture and debated selling my old ones on Craigslist. But I was uneasy about having strangers in my house picking it up (and possibly scoping out my house). I'm so happy I didn't. Ended up just giving it away to people I knew.

Ehh, thousands of Craigslist transactions happen like this every day without drama. I'll still use it.

I don't use Craigslist because I don't want to put mye-mail out there for the scammers. Damn you Jamaicans (except Bob Marley and Usain Bolt, God bless you two)!

and my last transaction, I met the iphone seller inside Starbucks around 9pm.

But you should be able to notice something in someone's voice over the phone if a person is not reliable, the way they talk to you.

This is why you should only visit the casual encounters section of Craigslist.

Craigslist doesn't put your actual email on them. It makes an email specific to that transaction that directs the emails to you and when the listing ends for whatever reason it gets rid of the email.

You bought a used mattress from a complete stranger on Craigslist? Sounds like a good way to get herpes.

i am not gay but i dream of chandler parsons ripping his shirt off! wth.

I made my first significant purchase from a stranger last year, as I never had purchased anything over 40 d0llars. but this chick had a speed light that i really wanted and she was basically giving it away. the thing hasn't broken down on me, so I'm quite happy with the purchase. I've heard some horror stories about cl.
