My father recently got a heart transplant and craig's story made me tear up. He looked just like craig when he was recovering after the surgery. It's like you age 20 years in a matter of months.

The scariest thing is right when they are transplant the organ (or marrow in sager's case) and there is a screen in the waiting room that tells you if the tissue was a match, even though blood matches its not 100 percent accurate until you actually do it.

Its good to see that sager is in a better place now, i'm looking forward to seeing him put on his weight again and be on those sidelines!

You're legitimately a sad man. I'm not the one with the fragile nature or the idiot considering every other post you have sounds like a mental breakdown. You're right though. I should not respond to mentally unstable people on the Internet. Have fun on the ignore list.

Edit: sorry to everyone for ever responding to him and derailing this thread. Still wish Sager the best and hope he can continue his passion.

    Ah fark! Poor bugger.
I really enjoyed watching his progress they regularly reported on 'Inside the NBA' and especially his recent return.
Actually thought the above post was an old one. Had to Google it before realising it wasn't BS.
Fingers crossed for him. Terrible thing cancer!

I wish Sager the best but fully expected he would relapse at some point. Too many people I've known personally have fallen to cancer. Gotta keep your emotions grounded.

Sounds like he found the right person for a bone marrow transplant, that's at least something and should definitely help. Probably why things went so smooth the first time.

I have a very hard time following this as I lost my mother to the exact sickness years ago, you get better, it comes back, better, comes back. I know there is a high cure rate but sadly it is not 100%

    I am cheering for Sager.

    Ugh suck x1000.

One hopes for the best but the possibility of a relapse stays at the back of the mind.

Really hope he makes it through, too many gone fark fark fark
