I think the coaches are scared to see Casspi dribble a basketball in the playoffs.

Garcia is a mainstay in the rotation, and adding Daniels with Lin will give this team a solid bench if he can connect at his 40% clip.

They have to be signed to the Rockets, in which case they are paid as Rockets, not as D-League players no matter which location they are playing.

While we are excited that they are making the move to look at him more closely tonight to eat into Casspi's minutes, shouldn't we also reflect on the fact that it took them 81 games to realize we need better three point shooting? While other teams carve out time to develop the bench, we were sitting here playing our starters extended minutes without really knowing what we would do come playoff time.

I said that last week, after the Minnesota game. We need to add him to the rotation! Our bench is weak. D-MO begged all this time to get minutes and he's not showing up.

Outside of the starting 5, I would play Asik, Lin, Garcia and Daniels THAT"S IT!! I would have a three man front court rotation of Howard, T Jones and Asik. D-MO is not getting the job done.

Daniels is the best shooter on the team, I really hope this happens. Will open things up and everyone will benefit.

No bonus as the only way you get called up from the D-league is if you're already on a NBA contract or they sign you to a contract.

So if a team picks you up (for a 10 day or season) you get paid pro-rated salary of the total contract.

And if you just got sent down and already had a contract, you just keep getting dem checks.

I thought rosters could have 13 active players now? Or was that only for the lockout-shortened season?

I wouldn't mind seeing Canaan get minutes in the playoffs also. Shooting is always at a premium.

Daniels looks cold tonight. Bad when there is no pressure

Wow this is huge if true. You know Asik and Lin are in the bench rotation... most likely Dmo and probably Garcia. So if Daniels is in that's it. No way more than that.

bad that we can only see Powell for one game.

I'd gamble on putting Powell in even if we need to drop DMo. I'd choose between Daniels or Hamilton. Bev, Parsons and Garcia will be our perimeter stoppers

Great move. If you're going run this type of offense, incorporate legit 3pt shooters.

Hmm - Good idea in theory. Daniels had already taken 7 3's by halftime and only made 2 of them.....in a scrubtastic game.
