Game 7 at home. D. Jordan --- 9/12 for 75% J. Crawford -- 8/16 for 50% Chris Paul -- 6 for 19 shooting for 31% Yup, no choking at all...lulz. He should have gone after someone's nutsack again. That usually gets him going.
CP3 is solid just a big flopper and cry baby on the court ! will be an interesting of season, no way he stays there without another star coming, plot twist PG goes to clippers instead of lakers, CP3 resigns IDK
Once again, I am by no means a fan of cp3, not even a little bit. But this delight in him 'choking' is way overblown. You want to see some stats for choking? How about: .375/.318 For fg%/3p% over a 5 game NBA finals series?
CP3's playoff career is sort of like that State Farm commercial where he builds a beautiful tree house for his kids, only to watch it all collapse at the end.
Harden brought a weaker, fatter and older group of players, that were even more mediocre and done to WCF and almost won 2 first games on champions homecourt
He needs better shooters. It's embarrassing that Doc is still starting Mbah a Moute at SF. CP3 was at his best with a guy like Peja. That SF spot has been the Clips downfall for literally years.
Completely baffles me how so many NBA fans put the entire blame on the star instead of mediocre teammates. In other sports it's "he played brilliant and gave it all, but couldn't carry that mediocre team", whereas here it often is "lol this guy couldn't carry them to the next round, what an overrated cunt". CP3 played great, put up extremely good numbers, orchestrated the offense and was let down by his team, questionable coaching and injuries to certain players. Beyond me how people can blame this on him. Do you guys really think the guy wouldn't have won a ring or been to multiple Finals by now if he played with better teams? It makes no sense.
I watched the game, and you definitely blame Paul. You can talk about his roster, but the Jazz essentially played without Gobert in game 7, and they gave serious minutes to Diaw and Joe Johnson, Dante Exum and Jeff Withey. The rosters are roughly equivalent, and their regular season records show it. The Clippers were at a disadvantage because they were missing Griffin, but Gobert barely played (I think like 12 minutes?). And DeAndre Jordan showed up. And the Clippers were at home. And they have more playoff experience. So let's say the Jazz are in slightly better position to win, but the game was very winnable. Very very very winnable. Rivers is a mediocre coach, but so is Snyder. Snyder only seems to be able to coach one side of the ball. The Jazz offense was a joke in game 7, possibly the worst offense I've seen in the playoffs this season. This was a very winnable game and Paul didn't play like it. He was already feeling sorry for himself in the 2nd quarter. 13 points on 19 shots? NOT A SINGLE FREE THROW MADE and only ONE attempted? I wouldn't call it a choke job, but he didn't show up. I suspect he didn't show up because he didn't want to play the Warriors without Griffin. He quit on his team. If he stays with the Clippers and they don't shake things up big time, all the respect I had for him will be down the drain.
