^He is the best champ the UFC has ever had. He held the HW title 2 times and the LHW title 2 times. The man is simply amazing.
Chuck is definitely the class of the UFC, but after watching more of Pride, he would get absolutely destroyed by someone like Fedor Emelianenko.
Pride is the S#@@.... I love it... Chuck did go to Pride a couple of times and lost. But your right... Fedor is the man the toughest dude out there.
Sam, Pride does suck in many organizational and structural respects. I don't like their ring, nor do I like their rounds format. And it is true that many ex-UFC fighters do end up in Pride. My statements stand. However, what is also true is that Pride has some of the superior fighters. That is the point I'm making here. Nice try at trying to settle your D&D scores over here and attempt to regain credibility, but alas, once again you faceplanted.
Why don't you just say you watched more of Pride and changed your mind. I don't understand the whole flip-flop thing. I change my mind all the time. Is that bad?
He got destroyed by Rampage and anyone on the planet will get destroyed by Fedor. I hope the UFC can sign Rampage after the Pride 31 show. He would be huge in the UFC.
Rampage has been in such a tremendous slump I don't know how he'd do in UFC. Ever since he got brutalized by Silva the second time and then had that wacky-sounding religious conversion and started fasting and having visions, and then turned into a lethargic, used-up tomato can in his last few fights. Disappointing to say the least.
