    Oh no, poor GSW.
They only have 4 allstars, two of them mvp/top 5 players in their prime and one DPOY and another all-nba player.
    They are vulnerable!

I think cousins made them worst. I was really looking forward to making him dance on those switches

Without Cousins, at least defensively for the Rockets, they should know what to do to beat them from last year and previous years. Cousins presents complications and unknowns for Rockets this year.

Another plus, he’s a smart flopper that forces refs, even without bias, to make calls similar to last Rox vs GSW game where he was unnecessarily flailing his arms on clean strips to get calls.

Downside is Harden and Paul have one less player to put on an island. Another downside is easier for Warriors to share the ball with one less ball dominant player, Looney, Bell and Bogut fit overall team concept much more.

Illegal screens won’t work as much on us this time because we will be switching and stepping up.

    LOL What?

They didn't lose Steph Curry or Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson or Draymond Green.
They lost the guy they won the title without 3 of the past 4 years.

Although I don't wish injuries on players, I'm in the same boat as you. I don't feel the least bit sorry for this guy.

Yeah it’s not something very good or bad. People stating this is better or worse for us should be cautious with that. We don’t know, he could kill Capela again or get all emotional, throw their game off and exploited as a defender.

The less bodies available, the better I guess. Bogut is less mobile and couldn’t do anything against Trez so he could struggle against Clint. Let’s see how we handle the Jazz and watch our guys health.

Looney kills us so I'm not so sure how this injury impacts a series against the Rockets.

Cousins could hurt us on the offensive end but Looney is the better defender and better on the boards.

    I think it's a wash really.

Without Cousins they can’t exploit the switches on the smaller players like they did in the last matchup. However, Cousins was terrible defensively and it actually might make the Warriors better...

I don’t know why some of you think cousins injury is a good thing for the warriors. If that’s the case then why did they lose last night?

Now the warriors are even short handed on bench, that’s a bad thing for them. This season has always been the focus on their bench as AI and Livingston are no longer the big role off the bench for them.

Cousins would have been run off the court vs the Rockets anyway. This might be blessing in disguise for GS.

I don’t know why people think Kevin looney or bogut is stopping harden in iso lol. Let’s run these next 3 vs Utah I can’t wait to beat the Warriors this year.

My point is that injury is injury and it would've happened whether he was on the Warriors or still playing for the Pelicans. So to scoff at bodily harm to a player simply because he decided he wanted to take the easiest route to a ring? [IMG]

Cousins can manhandle Capela. That is a terrible matchup for us. Hopefully he's out for the playoffs.

Yeah, Cousins is not someone you trust on defense, and on offense he takes the ball away from Curry, Durant and Thompson, i think without him they have less talent and depth, but they'll play better on both ends. For us could still be ok since Clint should've less problems against Bogut and Looney, even though Looney will give the rest of our guys more problems since he switches way better than Boogie.
