Clutchfans!! Gabe here! I am so happy and humbled that y'all noticed my passion for our beloved Rockets team! I was getting some dirty looks sitting with the riches of Houston and to know that all the (real) fans out there appreciated it, makes me proud. I have been receiving links and messages all day saying there was a forum about me so I figured it's about time I make a user name so I can communicate with you guys. Shout out to JVL713 for always thinking of me when he goes to the games; such a great time. Whether I'm nosebleed or court side, I always get rowdy for Rockets games and that was by far the best one I've EVER been to! Hopefully, you guys will see more of me and even more so, hopefully the Rockets can continue this hot streak through the end the season and to the CHAMPIONSHIP! Let's bring one back to HTown!! Yours truly, Gabe (crazy fan with the Drexler jersey)
If the ref isn't able to count to 5 seconds because the fans are yelling too loudly, then he would be a terribly incompetent referee. Oh wait....
I had a buddy in college who would go so far as to research the refs for that night's game, and if/when they made a bad call, he'd start heckling them with random tidbits of info from the past. He even had a ref look over at him once and ask who the hell he was (after my buddy called him out for getting thrown out of an AAU game like 6 years prior). Gabe seems like he'd get along swimmingly with my friend.
There was another guy on the other end of the court in a pink shirt doing the same. Gotta love it when even the courtside fans get into it rather than texting on their phones or w/e.
My only question is 'why is he wearing a Drexler jersey?" He looks too young to have watched those '94-'96 Rockets teams.
just rewatching the game and caught Gabe doing the same thing earlier in the game, right as the first half ends when the refs didn't call the foul on Lin and they had just T'd up Hamilton. Hard to miss him with that Drexler jersey.
I was talking **** to the refs during the close out game against portland in the playoffs, 2nd row, the ushers got mad at me lol i wonder if they told gabe anything. I was sitting next to bun b, he was looking at me crazy and he just sat there the whole game and pretty much showed no emotion, even when we won but who cares, its bun b Cool story bro

My coworker was sitting third row behind the Blazers bench and she said there was some drunk guy constantly yelling at the refs and kept flicking LA's head during timeouts. It took a while but LA finally told him to chill the **** out and then he was escorted from the building. Talking trash is one thing, going overboard like that is embarrassing and unacceptable. I would have said something to the jack ass. That's not a fan, that's ignorant trash.
He was close enough to flick Aldridge's head?? How did Aldridge not immediately tell security or the refs about it? That's way over the line.
In my defense, he had a fly that kept landing on his head and I kept trying to get it off. Classic misunderstanding.
I was so close to being removed from a playoff game with the TNT announcers sitting right in front of me. They pulled me from my seats to underneath the bleachers. I had the guy sitting next to me vouch for me to the security folks because he's buddies with head security & I had Chris from the Red Rowdies vouch for me as just being a die hard fan. I got to go back to my seat, but I was just a tad less loud. Someone said later that they could hear me on the broadcast. I never cussed though. Someone here on the forum knew it was me being walked out too & called out to me from the stands right as I was entering the tunnel. Here's my view from the announcers that game: Here's me standing about where Gabe would be sitting: Here's me on the opposite side of the court: Sadly, I haven't been to the TC in awhile. Living in Dallas sucks.
