I think tonights game with the Pistons and Nets is the best game i have seen in quite sometime.

And in refrence to another thread. "When will the East catch up with the West?"

I think tonights game anwsers your question. Very very soon.

Detroit is looking pretty good out there. Hopefully they keep it up.

Jeff, Anti-Sonic, and Clutch are three that have higher numbers. Most people you see that have registered in February 1999 were around before that, so the registration numbers don't mean all that much.

I'm wondering if Mutombo will get off the bench if/when the Nets get to the finals or if he's in the permanent doghouse.

    Gimme a break.

In other news, the Rockets are a backup player away from winning a title...

Man.........you should have watched Sunday's game.
IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST GAMES EVER. Horrible..terrible.

    But both very close games.

Nets won by 2 in both.

    lol...very very mad Pistons fans.

    Well....New Jersey is better.

    I think it's gonna be a sweep.

Pistons have lost their last 14 out of 16 on the road....

    Not good for them.

Now...add Carmelo Anthony or Darko Milivic or Chris Bosh...and everything will be fine next season.

as an avid fan of basketball, i must say that i certainly DOOOOOOON'T!! i did watch quite a few games in the earlier rounds but even then not at nearly the clip i was watching western conference games. and now i haven't really watched either games 1 or 2 (except the last 10 minutes of game 1) of the ECF. the games suck ass. the scoring droughts the two teams were pulling off in game 1 were comical.

i only missed game 1 of the WCF to see the matrix for a second time with a friend. and even then i had set that evening aside to watch that game. he just called out of nowhere at like 9:30. that is a legit excuse. i will now not miss another game in the series. east has so far to go to catchup.

I'm still puzzeled at how an 88-86 game where the winning team shoots 42% counts as anything better than "slightly mediocre"

    No doubt.

If by some miracle the Suns as an 8th spot had made the Finals, they would have whooped anyone that came out of the East.

Crap, I bet Rockets, Sonics, Warriors and even Memphis would have been kicking ass in the LEAST.

New Jersey is good enough to compete with the West now that Sacramento and the Lakers are gone.

Detroit gets the memphis pick next year. Could make a major leap forward.

Matt Bullard was on the radio yesterday morning...he was talking about how much he loved watching NBA basketball...but he said he just can't watch Eastern Conference basketball anymore. It's that bad.

If it can't hold the interest of people who are posting on a hoops related website, what does that tell you? Without a rooting interest, it's unwatchable.

The Suns competed with the Spurs, whats the big deal if they could have competed with the East's top seeds. I swear, just use some common sense every once in a while. They wouldn't have won the east though, NJ is too good for that team.
