The guy is a proven winner with 7 championships and an integral part of almost each one.

Steve Kerr has 5 and Ron Harper does too, should they be hall of famers? Of course not. Amount of rings do not make a HOF player. If it were so Malone, Murphy, Barkley, Wilkins and many others without wouln't be in the hall.

Just playing devil's advocate, but it is the "Hall of FAME", not the "Hall of GREATNESS". I won't argue that Horry is great, but I would argue that he has acheived a level of individual fame for his play on the court that warrants some consideration. The guys was just in the right place at the right time making the big shots over and over again. And winning 7 rings is pretty dang impressive.

And the nickname: "Big Shot Rob". He deserves consideration.

100% agree!! I can't stand that Josh guy. It almost seems like 610 compiled a group of the most annoying radio personalities with John Lopez being the other. They should go out and hire the other d bag Dylan Gwinn.

Rodman was a role player, he was the rebounder/defender on the team. He did it over the whole season/playoffs where big shot Bob made clutch/game defining shots in the playoffs. Don't think he deserves to be in the Hall but again this is the same people that have left out a local college coach

With the exception of the 06-07 Spurs, I don't believe that any of Horry's championship teams would have won without him. He was always in the right place at the right time, and delivered in the clutch.

That said, Rodman was borderline case for a lot of people, and he was more of an impact player than Bob was (1995 WCFs notwithstanding).

Horry should pay them off in championship rings...

As many times as he has won it all, why should he care if he gets into the hall or not?

If Horry makes it then Fisher will make it so no.

Oh and Joel Blank is a moron. Wish Wex still did the pre game

As much as I love what Horry did, if he makes it into the HOF, it'll be a sad day for that honor.

Horry was a decent role player on good teams. Period. The man is not even in HOF discussion.

If Rodman needs someone to come in for him and give a clutch speech in the waning minutes of the ceremony, Horry would be the ideal choice.

I wouldnt be against it. I also would not be hurt if he does not get in. In fact Rodman doeshave some league leading stats to back up his Hall of Fame claims. He was the premiere rebounder and some say defender in the league also.

Hey OP- how are you and "The General" getting along these days? haha

Also, the basketball HOF is the weakest one in pro sports, so its not out of the realm of possibility that Horry gets in.

There should be a hall of fame, for the very best of the best, and then a small section to honor the role players who do special things for their teams but aren't Jordan, Kobe, ect...
