    of course.

The Rockets as currently constructed COULD beat the Warriors in their own right. Notice the operative word "COULD" depending on the right conditions.

Absolutely. Even easier if you took pieces of each coaching staff. Combine the Raptors and Celtics and they still lose to Cleveland.

Where is Beverley? You'd rather have Mills? Really?

    I think this team can

    Beverly/Williams
    Harden/Gordon
    Ariza/Dekker/Williams
    Anderson/
    Capela/Harrell

Assuming one of the Warriors gets injured

Dude, you missed the Heart and Soul - PBev !!!

Add Pop as head coach, MDA as the assistant head coach. Damn, we would destroy them.

Bev will shut down that girl Stephenie, Harden will destroy Thompson on offense end. Kawhi will step his foot all over the cup cake. Aldridge/Ryno/Pau/Capella will make GREEN STHU.

if Rockets played like game 1 and game 4 for most of the Warriors series, they can beat them. That's not out of the realm of possibility.

I'll take Pop to take over for Bzdelik but I want D'Antoni running the offense.

Give me Kawhi to insert with the starters and Aldridge/Pau as backup big men. I want the rest of the Rockets to round out the roster.

In my opinion, if you want to beat the Dubs, you have to find a way to minimize Draymond Green. They have a ton of stars on that squad, including two MVPs, but if I had my choice of one player to take off their team to give us best chance to win, it would be Draymond. I can't stand the guy, but he defends all positions, sets picks, rebounds, stretches the floor... sadly, he's the ideal big for today's league.

I'm not sure who the best player in the league you could have on your team to minimize his impact would be.

Kawhi and Harden alone would be enough to beat the Warriors.

    1. In what universe do you pick Mills over Beverley, especially when going up against Curry?

    2. Kawhi is the only Spurs player worth getting in this matchup. Aldridge is a huge liability against Durant or Draymond in a small lineup. That said, he's still an upgrade over our 18-million-dollar-man.

    3. I rather have grandpa Ginobili's experience over Green's inconsistency. Manu may not be able to run anymore, but he can still stand in the corner and wait for Harden to dish him one of those series defining wide-open 3 late in the game, which Manu has the confidence to knock down like a Robert Horry or Ray Allen in the twilight of their careers.

What would the Houston Rockets look like today if they had read the '11 draft thread on Clutchfans?
