I would like him to go to Rockets as well - BUT only if they decide to get serious about winning again.

A win tonight should move UH up behind Purdue. The team needs to start figuring out how to box out a 7'4" 300 pounder with skills.
Happy to get out of there with a win. Witchita State played us tough. Every one of our big guys seemed to be in foul trouble all night except for Walker. Bad reffing, silly fouls? who knows. TBH this one looked like it had a good chance of going in the loss column until we shut them down and pulled away in the last 5 minutes of the game.
Wasn't really worried but the rebounding issue is becoming an ISSUE. Gotta be better in March+ Good win again Go Coogs
It is worrisome that this team can look so ordinary at times. Of course, playing UH, a highly ranked opponent is the "circled" game for everyone the Cougars face. W.S. should not have presented that much of a challenge but they did. UH still doesn't have that "well oiled machine" look, yet.
We lose this game without Reggie Chaney. That dude has no ego just the ultimate team player. Sunday at temple is going to be juicy
Same old problems. The offense stutters for 5 to 10 minutes and they fall back into isolation to try and bail themselves out. We try that against a team with length and we are going to burn for it. Offense did not seem to have an objective in mind tonight. Sasser needed a kick in the ass.
I’m starting to worry about that giant Purdue center. Ah, well, one game at a time and all that, but the fellers better practice attacking bigs HARD to try to draw fouls—and practice FTs when tired.
not sure why. i'll bet anyone Purdue is one that goes down early in the tourney. Probably one of the first of the high seeds to go down. They're the epitome of a team that can get beat early based on being built around a big center, surrounded by freshman and underclassman. No team built that way goes deep and when was the last time a big who was the other teams clear #1 option was the one to killed UH in the KS era. It doesn't happen. He's no different than the tacko's and Garza's who go home early The bama's, Kansas St. type teams are the one who pose much bigger threats with all around play not centered around a big. Not teams like Virginia/Purdue
