Tough loss. But we were undermanned on the road. Overall everyone played well and up to the task. Came down to defensive rebounding. So bodes well. Sampson clearly building an offense here and in command and control.
Glad I finally saw some off-the-ball movement and screens to get people open. FINALLY. However they got away from it at the end of the game, but it was looking more like an OU Coach Sampson team on offense - looks like he wasn't brainwashed by his time with the Rockets afterall (the stagnant offense part). That left-handed guard took some bad shots for us. Where was Rob G.? We need to learn how to box out. The fans were classless..oh wait this was the Dallas area. Refs made some ticky-tack calls against us. But I see hope on offense.

Sampson is going to break these guys like Hickory. Sending out the Student Manager onto the floor for big minutes, lol. Points made. Suprisingly Van Beck looked good out there once he got comfortable scoring 15 and 4 assists. He was Jeremy Lin quick on the drive and dish. But on Defense looked like a high schooler, and nearly clueless. Still, fun to watch since he was the only baller all night. Meanwhile, South Florida went with 7 players and 2 fouled out. Awesome. So their walks on rolled out there too. And then there was a Boogie Cousins sighting as he hit the floor for SF at 6'11. for all the wrong reasons this game was fun to watch. Cougars are struggling, but still a good team on the whole. Sampson though, he's not messing around.
They lose to bad teams then beat decent / good teams. Weird AF. Are they in the bubble or a lock to get into the dance? I think a win vs SMU will help their case.
And I wanna see them play better competition than they are playing right now. Honestly, next year team is going to be hella good vs this years.

Didn't they almost beat SMU not too long ago? This team is bizarre. Actually, they're playing like the Rockets were doing at the beginning of the season - losing to bad teams and winning or playing well against good teams.
