I am becoming a believer of Brewer. He seems like a guy who knows his role and complements the team so nicely. He is the definition of a role player. I haven't seen this team running with so much energy in a long time and that's so exciting to see!

Lets hope he can continue to get steals. We all know what happens to a player's offense when they come to the Rockets. The first couple of games will be great, then all of a sudden they fall off a cliff.

The fact that he is very capable of finishing breaks make this trade an absolute win!

I think I'm really gonna enjoy lineups with Harden, Ariza and Brewer together as they are 3 of the top 11 steal leaders in the NBA.

Add J. Smith and we have two different scary defensive lineups to mess with:
    1) Small
    Beverley
    Harden (guarding the PF)
    Brewer
    Ariza
    Howard

    Or

    2) Big
    Harden
    Brewer
    Ariza
    Smith
    Howard

lol thank you for a voice of reason. Brewer and Shved could put up big #s if given big minutes on a bad team. Their efficiency only will go up on a good team that caters to their strengths. Brewer is like a lower-middle class Ariza and we got him for pretty much nothing and Shved has a ton of upside. Trust in the Morey, if Morey weren't an NBA GM he'd be crushing daily fantasy sports because he finds value where most do not.

That was a really nice read man. I like that description of brewer, he really might be nba's best transition specialist. Those are really nice clips too. He can get steals and take it coast to coast, can finish in transition with others, and hopefully bring that consistent sixth man energy we lack. I remember that last season with carl landry how he always played with so much fire, and was even one of the best closers in the 4th quarter. Its probably a stretch to expect that from Brewer, but he is fun to watch for sure. His assist numbers over his last month with the timberwolves show that he can create shots for others as well so really excited to have him. Also don't wanna be a pessimist but his shot is gonna lose some games for us for sure though.

Love the way we pressure the ball and generate steals. Brew will thrive in our defense and hopefully be advantageous in our offense. Plus, Ariza needs the rest so badly.

Not going to lie. Brewer is such an annoying opponent when he's not on your team. He just doesn't stop and gets pumped up after every play he makes...Love it!

If we don't win the championship this year we will certainly be the most annoying/hated team in the NBA. I love that, way better than the lovable overachieving Rockets who awwww they missed the playoffs again! They tried so hard though!

I love the fact that Brewer can finish around the basket. That's the one knock I have on Kpap is his finishing skills around the basket. He tends to miss a lot of bunny shots.

Speaking of which, I wonder what's going to happen to Kpap's minutes? I know Bill and Clyde kind of brought this up during the game. I think Terry's minutes will go down which is important due to his age. You don't want him playing that many minutes. Cannan will probably see less minutes as well.

The only thangz that have created minor turbulence for the rokits are scheduling, extreme fatigue, and some awful calls.

Fortunately, injuries have actually made this team Stronger and more Confident in themselves and in each other because the entire roster has shown their ability to Elevate their games when they play on the court no matter who the opponent is! (Capela will get there eventually) These are the signs of a very good team

Let's not forget that this trade was so one sided due to McHale's connection with Sota.

This was a better pick up than Ariza as far as I'm concerned.

One thing is for sure, there is no doubting whether or not he wants to be here. You could tell he was thrilled to be playing meaningful basketball.

I always thought Brewer was 6'6" or 6'7". I didn't realize until I pulled his stats after the trade that he is a legit 6'9". He is an Ariza have to be two of the longest wings in the game.

Our defense is going to be absolutely sick. I can't wait to see this team straight suffocating the opposition in the playoffs.

Watching last night was proof that steals are now underrated. Steals on the perimeter and in the passing lanes are devastating. Easy points the other way and suck the wind out of the opposing team.

Yes, steals where you take it from the big man down low or something are risky, but I've got no problem with guys being ultra aggressive on the perimeter when you have Dwight down low.

Same here. I was shocked at courtside last night to see how tall he really is...much taller than Dorsey and looked just above Ariza. This guy can play. He is a heck of an addition.
