I know Morey is regretting signing Brewer to a 3 year deal. It should've been a 2 year deal with a team option for the 3rd.
Yeaah and you have zero ball IQ..... Brewer is the worst rotational player in the NBA..... KJ in his few games earlier in the year showed more than Corey has in two years.
Nope, KJ is a moron who can't beat out old man Brewer. Try again. Think I'll trust MDA on this one but you hang in there with your higher than zero BB IQ.
Hindsight is 20-20, but the Rockets wouldn't have been able to sign Brewer to any more team-friendly of a contract. Apparently, he turned down a bigger deal with the Kings to re-sign here. He was a much hotter commodity in 2015. At least that deal isn't a total albatross.
Maybe he is not garbage now that he made a layup and a dunk in successive games Id upgrade him from garbage to trash
Brewers best game of the season . Is his 3 stoke coming back ( aka on a hot streak ) He's shooting it with more confidence and tonight he really played under control for the most part
All i know is i think he lost his spot tonite He has moved back to 8th or so on the depth chart Sam - NeNe/Harrel/Capela - Egordon are all before him l . .or should be Rocket Rive
This is seriously his peak, hopefully he's traded tomorrow because it's not going to get any better than this.
Brewer has played in 40+ games this year and he's had TWO good games... TWO. When I say good I don't even mean boxscore statistical performance.... I mean games in which his overall play, production, contribution, impact... has been more positive than negative. You can't name one thing quantifiable that he does well or even decently.... When he's on the court he's a detriment to the team 9 times out of 10. On offense he's a poor finisher... Often times even when uncontested.... He's a poor FT shooter... He's a horrible three point shooter... Teams actually ignore him often and if you watched against GS that's what killed our offense. They used his man to double the ball or Harden leaving Brewer open from a three cuz he's a non threat.... And his lackadaisical play helped jump-start them as well killing momentum whenever we had it. He's a gambler on defense.. CONSTANTLY running out of position.... Going for steals and rarely getting them.... Also flopping for offensive foul calls and rarely drawing them. He's a poor decision maker.... How often must we see him go tunnel vision on a break and blow a layup one on three or throw a crazy pass leading to a turnover when he has a wide open man... Or commit a completely foolish foul by hacking a player away from the hoop when we're in the bonus or on long jumpers. If you think or believe in what MDA says about him you're a fool.... Brewer gets minutes because of his contract and because they low-key know they need to get rid of him and can't have a chance at doing that if he's buried on the bench for being a detriment.... I wish that didn't matter, but unfortunately that's the approach that's been taken. Guess I was wrong... Your ball IQ as a poster is actually on par with Brewers ball IQ as a player.... I'll await your TWO good posts.
