I thought I was the only who noticed this. Dekker changed the game, he had energy and was aggressive. He needed to start that 2nd half, and that's when it got carried away. Not to say he's some game-changer, but he changed last night's game for us. He needs more minutes, and at the expense of Brewer.
Obviously Brewer won't play THIS much when everyone is healthy, but you can't count on everyone being healthy and every game matters. We really need to replace him. Doesn't need to be a great player, just someone who can come in and make 3s and move the ball. Kyle Korver was honestly the perfect target. I'm so disappointed that he's playing for Cleveland. Even at 35% in a small sample size he would make a huge difference. Oh well. Need someone to take those minutes that can hit some shots.
Corey is the mascot for the team.. He fires teammates and the crowd up with a couple minutes of hustle .. But only if we're winning big or losing big, should he be allowed to use these "hidden talents" ... Otherwise he will destroy you and your love for the game...
I dont know why Rockets signed him for a lot of money when he was free agent. Wow, he scored 51 points against us 5 year ago. How? He is garbage.
Need I remind you all that the Rockets are 20 games over .500 with Corey Brewer playing heavy minutes? Thank you. (drops microphone and walks off stage)
That's the point - he is broken. His PER, +/-, def/off rating are all sub-human. He's an actual detriment to the team - it's just not making as much of an impact due to the elevated play of his teammates.
haha actually I was referring to dekker, to me brew is a lost case, but dekker is young and if he make himself into 40% shooter it will be huuuge for him and the rockets
