http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=4965447 Corey Brewer is making a strong case for being our favorite non-Rocket 1. Posterizes Derek Fisher on arguably the best dunk of the year(decade?) 2. Breaks hated Rockets killer Jason Terry's face In about 2 weeks, Minnesota plays the Jazz. Crossing my fingers for a monster dunk over Kirilenko that somehow ends with Kirilenko getting a career ending groin injury.
As much as I hate terry (and I hate him the most on the Mavs) he came back and played the 4th quarter with a broken orbital bone. Now that's tough. (Almost as tough as Carl Landry....j/k)
Seems similar to the injury that Olajuwon had way back when Cartwright elbowed him. Remember the goggles? Seems as if Dream was out for much longer than Terry will be, though.
way to go brewer, too bad he did not get hurt either! i will not settle for one gettin hurt, i want them all to hurt dammit
I hope Brewer has a long career. Back at Florida he was the only starter who came from a really poor family. Considering his situation most would have left for the draft after the first championship, but he stayed that extra year w/ Horford and Noah to win that 2nd championship.
So he turned his back on his family real cool. That other Gator was halfway aborted and still sticks with his fam.
