I've been surprised by his production in the deep game, never thought he was a burner, knew he could go up and get it, but never thought he could beat coverage over the top. Figured he would be a possession type receiver, but he's been a deep threat this season.

Easily the 2nd best receiver this franchise has ever had. Would still love a blazing fast receiver to pair with him when Johnson is gone.

His college mate Sammy Watkins would look great as a #2 for Hopkins right about now. Too bad we missed out on him.

How in the hell are you going to blame Teddy? I swear man, you Bridgewater haters are soooo delusional. Not even going to give a reason why, just pure hate.

I think y'all hit it .. What's pleasantly surprising is his deep ball receiving ability. I thought he was more of a possession receiver but he burns some fast DB's. Out there lately

Looking at the 1st round picks from 2013, I think Hopkins is the most successful of all of them. At the very top 3 from that class

Nearly everyone busted in the top 15. Insane

    Nuk - 22y, 198d
    L-Fitz - 22y, 109d

Difference of 89 days. However, if you take into account their birthdays, it's not as wide a difference.

    Nuk - Jun 6
    L-Fitz - Aug 31

Difference is 87 days, meaning DeAndre would have missed the record by only two days. One hell of an accomplishment either way, especially when you consider the QB turmoil we've had.

I won't name names...... But some of us have no right to rag on Rick Smith.

Top 3 Wide Receivers right NOW

    Julio
    Brown
    Nuk

    In no particular order.

You can make an argument as Nuk for the top receiver in the game right now since he does not have a top ten QB throwing to him like these other fellas

I may have posted this in this thread, but when the draft happened, my father in law, the Vikings fan, was going on and on about his Patterson was better than Hopkins and would be better.

I told him straight up, "There is no way Patterson will be better than Hopkins."

Flash forward to last week, and I said, "Hey, remember when you said Patterson was better than Hopkins?"

He was saying this even after their first year in the league.

He just looks at me, smiled, and says, "Yeah, but Patterson's still better on special teams!"

All I could do was laugh.

Hopkins has been coached up better than Cordarrelle. Better system. ;)

Seriously though, Texans biggest problem besides QB last decade may've been injuries. Not exactly sure how we stack vs other teams, but seems Houston is worse than most in every major sport.
