My GF got a warning paper for the rear left brake light.

What's going to happen now? Anything? Nothing?

    This is Sugar Land.

No. Just go to an auto parts store tomorrow and replace it for her. If she gets pulled over again, she will get a ticket

Naaaa... they just give them out for fun. I'd break the other light to make them match. :D

Actually it means you need to get that fixed and the next cop that stops you for it probably won't be as nice, so you can start a thread about how all cops suck when that one busts her. ;)

It means, "Hey! We are giving you the benefit of the doubt that you cannot see the light 'cause you're in the car. Now go get a new bulb."

I've gotten so many warning papers, some of them for blatant speeding. I just throw them away.

Saw a cop run a red on Gessner not too long ago. Didn't have lights on. Chased him down and gave him a warning paper.
