Im sorry im actually talking of experiences and general knowledge around the city itself, I dont know about out of state PD's but its not true that all are said to be racist... What I do know is this one definitely has a reputation and has had one for a long time... besides the point though, im not alluding to the fact that he hated the guy or the dog in particular. Again, im speaking on Hawthorne PD, and the point of saying they are always in packs and in shape (personal observation I saw for myself)is that, its not like the danger was as life threatening as some are making it out to be, that's all. They handled the situation alright.. and yes over handled it which is another one of those things you get when you have cops like them in particular who run in packs.
The dog is dead because the cop pulled the trigger, regardless if the guy was a moron or not. Cops have dogs too so im sure they get better training than that on how to handle out of control animals.
I realize that you are often wrong, but that you are not a crazy ideologue like some others. There is hope for you.
Why was the dog owner barking at the cops? Also, were the cops going to let the dog sit in the car and rot, while... er... they take the owner to the station? Anyways, the cop that shot the dog is one sick puppy..
Then you aren't thinking clearly. Dog bites are dangerous. They cause a lot of bacterial infections and if you get bitten in the leg, you can bleed out if it damages the femoral artery.
