strange thing was i kept reading how people had to wait and wait, and then email clutch about CM status but hell i sent the donation at say 5:00pm and i was a CM at 5:02pm... it literally took no time. clutch and the mods do such a fine job and i appluad them. congrats VOA, too bad your losing to me in our CF fantasy basketball league.:grin:
I do want to note here that the time it takes always comes down to what Clutch is doing at the time you send it in. Not everyone will get it credited in the same amount of time. In your case, I'm gonna guess he was already checking paypal at the time you hit the tipjar. If you want to ensure proper credit goes to who it belongs to in a timely manner you should make sure you put your bbs username in the comments field on the paypal transaction and/or send an email(not visitor message or non-existent PM) thru the board with your transaction number and he will get to it as time allows. and, as always, all donations are appreciated. Contrary to what some noobs think, the ads dont cover the full cost of the server bandwidth and there is no company funding this site...it is all on the one guy(Clutch), the rest of us just try to help out when we can.

Yeah... I don't know. I guess it doesn't really bother me that much. It does cause me to post consecutively rather than edit my posts but that's more bothersome to others.
I contributed back in June and sent Clutch an email a few weeks ago and still no change. I'm like you...I guess it doesn't bother me that much but would still like to get credit for contributing. I'm not going to contact him again at this point. If it happens it happens.
How can I get a custom "Contributing Member" name? I've seen Clutch Crew, .gif (Rodman), Rookie (Coach B), etc.
