I think you're missing the value added service of the caravan. It can also double as a moving service. These hard core fans will have no problem loading up Bosh's possesions & bringing them back to Houston.

DM knows one of the top 5 FA will miss their boat to sign along with leBron or Wade. When that happens - The Rox will land their FA. It is too early to speculate. Bosh is not for sure, no player is.

If you watch DM's press conference he made today about Yao and talking about why Houston is a great destination you will see what I'm talking about.

He laid out his entire pitch to the media.

i think it's been clear for a while that houston was going after Bosh...i think clutch even said it and Morey implied it, so that's enough "inside info" to create the site, but it doesnt necessarily mean Clutch knows what bosh's decision is.

Thanks for posting that Bosh video, I never got to see that when it came out. He did a great job with his voice and his manor isms and gestures were top notch. What a hick =)

5 stars for the creativity!! It does make sense, but how can a multi million dollar franchise be kept out in the dark. It just doesn't seem realistic that something like this can be kept away from Toronto.

O, and if it is true...lets hope no Toronto fan is on this board!

"Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo told a Toronto radio station he thinks Bosh “likely” will leave the team. Should Bosh decide to sign elsewhere, Colangelo also said the Raptors will try to engage in a sign-and-trade deal to bring the franchise some measure of compensation.

Sources said the Raptors will try to acquire draft picks and young players in return for Bosh. They would likely ask for forward Michael Beasley(notes) and point guard Mario Chalmers(notes) in any deal with the Miami Heat. If Bosh were to go to the Chicago Bulls, the Raptors like forward Taj Gibson(notes) and center Joakim Noah(notes), though Noah could prove impossible to pry from Chicago. If Bosh settles on the New York Knicks, the Raptors would try to engage in a double sign-and-trade that sends Knicks forward David Lee(notes) to Toronto.

Sources called a potential sign-and-trade with the Los Angeles Lakers “doubtful.”

I heard this on ESPN earlier. It looks like it's starting to come together.

Plus he already gave a hint on ESPN. Stating he wants a sign and trade deal now only. The reason being you cant make as much on a max contract if its not through sign and trade or with your old team. That makes Houston even up a notch more.

Actually, the ESPN report states that the Raptors are seeking a sign-and-trade. Though I'm sure Bosh wouldn't mind it either.

Wouldn't we likely part with either Brooks or Scola in the deal also? Something like Scola, Ariza, and a pick or two? I think Toronto would not settle for anything less than proven talent and picks.
