I know that you are often way out there but are you seriously saying that there's a chance that Trump didn't win the election fairly? I mean, if so, that's a ridiculous hot take even from you.
Every time this thread is bumped i expect something significant. All thats happening is democrats setting themselves up for more losses in a refusal to accept Trump ran a better campaign. The whole idea of her emails is the reason she lost is so ridiculous irs sad. Irs astonishing people accept that as reality instead of actual reality that she is not liked by the people who switched from obama. Democrats need to start thinking about their next messenger
Does legality have anything to do with morals in your code of conduct? Because the fact that it was a foreign party makes it illegal. It's against the law to accept anything of value in an American election from a foreign entity. That's why Trumps team has to say they didn't receive anything at all. Because even if the Russian lawyer gave Don Jr. a Starbucks gift card, he would be breaking the law. Leaks and Trump? You're joking right? A good majority of the leaks against Trump this year have come from inside the White House. It's all but clear that Kushner was the one that leaked the Don Jr. email. Even Trump himself gushed publicly about his people leaking to the media because it was apparently an attempt to win his affection.
A) he didn't accept anything B) just because something is against the law doesn't make it unethical C) dirt on Hilary being something of value would be up for interpretation
Oops... Manafort offered to give Russian billionaire ‘private briefings’ on 2016 campaign Tom Hamburger, Rosalind S. Helderman, Carol D. Leonnig and Adam Entous September 20 at 5:04 PM Less than two weeks before Donald Trump accepted the Republican presidential nomination, his campaign chairman offered to provide briefings on the race to a Russian billionaire closely aligned with the Kremlin, according to people familiar with the discussions. Paul Manafort made the offer in an email to an overseas intermediary, asking that a message be sent to Oleg Deripaska, an aluminum magnate with whom Manafort had done business in the past, these people said. “If he needs private briefings we can accommodate,” Manafort wrote in the July 7, 2016, email, portions of which were read to The Washington Post along with other Manafort correspondence from that time. [more at the link] Nothing to see here, right?
a) he admitted he 100% intended to accept and ask for legal advice later. we don't know what was given/accepted that day. c) "I love it" Lets meet & I intend to accept it - so it was clearly valuable to the Trump Campaign
Oops.... Manafort used Trump campaign account to email Ukrainian operative http://www.politico.com/story/2017/...ump-campaign-email-ukrainian-operative-242949
Eventually the issue is what does this matter to anything? You guys are spinning your wheels chasing a ghost. As bad as the Manafort situation is thats his problem not Trump's. Maybe Manafort wanted to get close to Trump for some dubious reason, that doesn't indict Trump of anything but bad judgement
We'll know when Robert Mueller presents his findings. That is the entire ****ing point of an investigation. You saying "Nothing's happening" is conjecture, unless you are a member of Mueller's team. It matters if President Trump is working to promote Russian interests instead of America's. That is, and always will be, the issue. It is President Trump's problem if his former campaign manager, who we've learned he was still speaking to via phone after the inauguration, is found to have been working on behalf of Russian interests during the campaign. It is President Trump's problem if he knew about, and/or consented to, Manafort's dealings. Again, that's the point of an investigation. That's. The. Point. Of. An. Investigation. Your downplaying the current status of Robert Mueller's investigation is nothing but conjecture. I'm willing to be patient and accept whatever Robert Mueller finds when he finds it. How about you do the same instead of projecting wishful thoughts every time you post?
So we've got our first Trump-Russia connection: Manafort and his contacts. I've said before that Manafort was the oddball, not sure why huge sections of this thread were dedicated to anyone but Manafort.
Trump might be a victim of Manafort. Still... only smoke but no broken law fires. At this point it's clear the thread should be renamed, "Connecting the Manafort-Russia Dots"
How can you even have a serious discussion with folks on the Right now when this is the kind of response you get? FoxNews has seriously made you people either brain dead or just sport trollers whose main point in life is to piss off anyone not drinking FoxNews KoolAid.
Who cares what you expect? You don't know anything that's happening because all you care about is talking about how Trump won and Democrats are bitter which is just tired political rhetoric. Many times in this thread you've declared what actually happened without any evidence whatsoever to back it up. It's ASTONISHIING that you continue to say you don't care but you keep posting over and over again like someone who cares a lot, not in finding the truth but in repeating the same tired things over and over again. If you feel a need to discuss Trump's brilliant scumbaggery, then go create that thread and stick to the topic of this thread.
The "ghost" is the creature who has swallowed your morality. You care nothing about the attack on our democracy by a hostile foreign power. Why? Because that attack was in support of the candidate you worship.
