DEAR GOD PLEASE LET THIS COME TO FRUITION!
This is the guy we need!
    - Not ball heavy, but CAN bring up the ball, and run the offense as opposed to looking lost soon after crossing mid-court (Patrick Bev).
    -Finishes well
    -Comfortable with the ball
    -Makes open shot
PLEASE GIVE HIM WHATEVER HE ASKS FOR D. MOREY.

This would be a bad move...

injury prone, and whoever pays him will be paying the majority of the contract on the wrong side of 30

He is only 28 + i wouldnt call him injury prone. Until last season he played atleast 70 games a season.

If players like Wesley Matthews and Paul Millsap are getting the max, I don't mind giving it to Conley especially if we have the cap and would help out the team.

I like Conley. Not sure he is the best use of money for this team. Would require a big change in offensive strategy in addition the the age/injury concerns. Rather have horford at the 4 and add a 2 way wing like barnes that can play 3 and 4.

Conley's age is not the problem, players usually enter into their prime mid~late 20s and can perform at an elite level until early 30s. It' only players like Dwight Howard that you have to look our for, since most athleticism-based players go downhill relatively faster than others. The thing that bothers me about Conley is his injury-proneness, we can't afford another PG who constantly misses games at important junctures.

i don't consider conley injury prone. he hasn't really had any major injury that has made him ineffective

Trade Ariza + Brewer for picks.

    Do not re-sign Howard/Smith/Terry/Jones

Sign Horford + Conley to (maybe convince them 1-2 mil short of a Max).

    Sign Batum to Ariza-esque deal.

    Draft rookies.

    Conley
    Harden
    Batum
    Beasley
    Horford

    ---
    Capela
    Dmo
    KJ
    Harrell
    (insert shooter here)

this is the team I want.

Yes, I tried playing pretend GM with adding Durant and their is no money left to build a decent team to contend with the Spurs and Warriors, Cavs..

    We might as well TANK

Batum can get the max from someone. Why would he take an Ariza like deal?

The cap is about to skyrocket..

Players worse than Batum will likely also get a max in the next two years

understandable but I don't see this substantial decline that you're seeing. he's still very much a all star caliber pg and that showed with the season they were having before gasol and him went down. I'd consider it too risky if he tore something but thats not the case here.

I consider him healthier than Beverley.
